This is a fantastic resource, and I can tell you must have a personal interest in astronomy? It is interesting that people have studied the mental health effects of eclipses on individuals, and the twitter study is fascinating. I recall that special feeling in 2017 actually!

Also good to know that certain solar shades/eye protection brands and sources have been investigated by the Astronomical Society - off to cross reference mine against this list so I don't get scammed into retinal damage!

I wish us all clear blue skies, and thank you for the inspiration/education! I have many interesting points of conversation now for water cooler chats.

Did you know that a county in Texas already declared a state of emergency for the eclipse? Thought it was strange until a friend pointed out that preparedness requires money. Image a lot of Urgent Care/ED visits, along with facilities / First Aids Stations, crowd/traffic control requires planning.
