A very worthy list of resolutions indeed. Thank you for taking the time for both thinking of these and writing them down. Now if they could only create a tasty olive oil ice cream that would really help.

This was an excellent list of worthy resolutions to help maintain/build one’s physical, mental, and emotional health. I loved the Wordsworth quote and your clever tacked-on last two lines, which did give me pause, until I read on, and laughed out loud at your confession. Wednesday Addams’ quote was right on, too. Thanks for your concise, well-researched and wise advice and information...and sense of humor! Happy, healthy New Year!

Aw yes, you had me stumped for a minute, wondering why Wordsworth would use the word scrolling😅. I totally agree with Wednesday Addams. I must admit this challenge will be easier for me now that I’m no longer on Twitter and I have never been on TicTok. I use Facebook and Instagram mostly for family. I was telling Marty I could just let the family know why they aren’t hearing from me. Marty pointed out that YouTube is a social media company, yikes. I’ll knuckle down and do without my afternoon YouTube for the week. The hardest part will be figuring out how to stop these outlets from notifying me all the time. I’ve turned off notifications before and I must say it felt great to live without constant bids for my attention. Good luck all, I’ll check in at the end of the week to report how it feels.

I'd like to add one more: turn off the TV and read, read, read. It's good for your mind and great exercise for your eyes.

Thank you again. If I could pick one of these resolutions to be successfully achieved it would be getting a good night's sleep. I've been struggling with that lately. Being tired, out of touch with myself, builds layers of unnecessary anxiety and saps my JOY. I want my joy back.

Here's hoping for joy in all our lives. 🙏

Almost forgot... I've recently discovered "Yoga with Adriene" on YouTube. I strongly recommend it.

#9 I all in with the No Room for Covid complacency pledge. I’m so lucky to have a few excellent MDs in my family to advise me😀 I’m also thankful for my nursing education which enables me to sort through reliable sources and content. The data you shared about Covid vaccines preventing hospitalization and death is eye popping.

I’ve been working on the first two, and feel better already with more time for reading, cooking (Mediterranean ;) and less loneliness paradoxically...
